FAQs

How big does my audience have to be to launch a group?

YFGP teaches you to “beta launch” which you only need 5-10 people to do. So if you have a small audience BUT you are well connected to your niche and you have access to at least 5-10 people who would want to participate in your beta, then you have enough people! We have had students sell out their beta launch with a list of 75 people. There is a list building module to help you grow your list to get ready for launch too! Generally, I like to say an audience of 1000 people (whether email list or social or combined) is a good number to aim for but, as with all things in your biz, it depends. You can beta launch with much, much less!

Will this help me create an online/passive income course?

This is helping you create a group program with a live component, because I am positive that this will make you more money than an online course at the end of the day. And, ALL good online courses start with testing them LIVE first to work out the kinks, and YFGP will show you exactly how to do that. You may eventually decide to take the content from YFGP and turn it into an online course.

I’m scared of investing. Can you guarantee I will make this investment back?

I mean, nothing in business is guaranteed, but I am pretty damn certain that if you don’t make it back during your beta test (which I think you will), you will make it back when you do your first launch. If your course is priced at even $300, you’d only need ONE registrant to make your return on this investment. Pretty good odds, if you ask me (especially when you consider that you will be creating a program that you will run again and again!)

What if I don’t have a website or email list yet?

It is best to have a website to sell your program from, though I have seen programs sell out through a sales page in a google doc. If you don’t have an email list, you will need to have a very good idea of where you will promote to find your clients (ie instagram, facebook group, or some other network you are already a part of and have access to market to). If you’re already getting one-on-one clients without a list, then great, you can market your group in the same way. But if you have NO idea where you will find the people for your group program then it’s best to hold off and build up that following before creating your signature program.

I have taken tons of programs that I haven’t even finished yet! Why should I take another one?

The result of Your First Group Program isn’t about getting your business started, or learning nice ideas about marketing - it’s very specifically about learning how to create and launch a group offer that will make you more money. You will leave with a program fleshed out and ready to sell. If you haven’t finished other programs, it could be that they were not specific enough to what you need NOW in your business. I will say that my teaching style is very direct and to the point with little fluff, and no useless exercises just for the sake of it. I like to make it easy to get the info you need and start implementing right away (plus, once you get started, I think you will be SO excited about the possibility of what a group program can bring to your business, that I don’t think you will have any problem finishing!)

My business is in person and I want to move online. I’m totally new to this! Will this program work for me?

You can, but I will be honest and tell you that you will likely struggle. This program will be asking you to create launch emails and post on social media and write sales pages. If everything to do with online marketing is new to you, there will be a learning curve (but nothing you can’t handle!) That, and if you have no idea where your clients are online, filling your new signature group program might be more challenging. This program is best suited to those who already have an online business/following and are ready to grow. That being said, you are still welcome to sign up, and the bonus module about list building will help you get started with your online marketing.

Will you give me a 6 figure launch formula?

Yes! The launch emails and launch plan in the program are the exact emails I used to sell out 6-figure launches of Uncage Your Business… but that doesn’t mean that YOU will make 6 figures with your first launch. The intention of this course is to help you understand the nuances of moving from 1:1 to groups, create a killer program that your clients rave about, and help you turn it into YOUR signature program which could eventually lead to 6-figure launches in the future for you too!
