Build Your Own VA
Build the AI assistant that takes the busywork off your plate (no VA salary needed)
Hey you.
I’m guessing it’s 9:47pm and you’re still at it. Typing out the same discovery-call follow-up email for the fifteenth time this month. Staring at a blank page trying to write this week’s newsletter and social posts. Typing up your notes and a recap after every single client call. Chasing down the scheduling, the invoices, the spreadsheet that never quite matches.
You didn’t start a coaching business to be your own admin department.
You started it to coach. To help people. To do the work only you can do.
But right now the day-to-day stuff is eating your actual business alive. And the thing that would fix it (a VA, an assistant, someone) costs money you don’t have yet.
The dream
What you actually want
The boring stuff, already handled.
Follow-ups drafted. Content chopped up and ready. The numbers explained in plain English so you know what to do next.
Your hours back.
For the work that grows your business: coaching, selling, being a human being with a life.
Real support behind you.
Even if “real support” is currently just you and a lukewarm coffee.
Sound familiar?
Why it hasn’t happened yet
Let’s be honest about what you’ve already tried.
You’ve thought about hiring a VA.
And then looked at the price. And closed the tab. Totally fair: when you’re new, every dollar has a job, and “assistant” isn’t at the top of the list.
You’ve poked at AI.
You asked ChatGPT for a post, got something that sounded like a LinkedIn robot wrote it, and thought “this doesn’t sound like me” (because it doesn’t).
You’ve heard about Claude Code.
Everyone’s talking like it’s obvious. Like you should already know. And you quietly think: I’m not techy. I don’t even know what I don’t know.
That last one is the real stopper. It’s not that you can’t do it. It’s that no one has shown you where to start, in plain English, while you’re doing it with your own business on your own computer.
Reading about it doesn’t work. Watching a tutorial doesn’t work. (If it did, you’d have done it already. You’re smart.) You need someone next to you while you actually build the thing.
Let’s talk about
the “I’m not techy” thing
Here’s what “using Claude Code” actually looks like
You type what you want, in normal words, like you’d text a person.
That’s it. “Take these questions and write a friendly follow-up email for each one.” “Find the broken links on my website.” “Tell me what worked in my last launch.”
No code. No jargon. No programming. No “wait, what’s a terminal?” panic. (We’ll cover that too, and it’s much less scary than it sounds.)
And you won’t be figuring it out alone at 11pm with a confusing tutorial. We set it up together, one small step at a time, with real people helping you while you do it. If you get stuck, you raise your hand and we get you unstuck. You don’t fall behind. There’s no “everyone else got it but me.”
I’m not a techie. I’m a coach who got curious. If I can do this, and use it to get hours back every week, so can you.
The solution
What you really need
You need a morning of doing it, with help, with your own stuff.
That’s what this is. We’re not here to teach you how AI works or make you read a manual. For four hours we build, live, on Zoom, with your business, and you leave with a working assistant installed on your own computer that already knows your voice and your clients.
Think of it as a VA you build yourself
in one morning.
(Quick note, because I care about this: I’m not telling you to replace real human help. When you’re ready and your business is ready, hire the humans! This is for right now, when you’re new, the budget’s tight, and you need support anyway. This is how you get it.)

Who’s going to be in your corner
The workshop
Build Your Own VA
A 4-hour live working session. By the end of the morning you’ll:
1
Have Claude Code installed and running on your own computer
So you’re done with “I don’t know where to start” for good.
2
Have a “brain” for your business
Your voice, your offers, your clients, your rules, so what comes out sounds like you, not a robot.
3
Have 2-3 real tasks working that save you actual hours
Built live with your own business info, so you can see it work before you leave.
4
Know exactly what to hand off next
So you keep building without guessing.
What’s included
- 4 hours live on Zoom with me and Mikey, working in real time (not a lecture, you’re building the whole time)
- Hands-on help while you build, so you don’t get stuck on the technical stuff alone
- Your starter setup to take home, so you can keep going after we sign off
- The recording [confirm: how long they have access]. Fair warning: this is a working session, so the real magic happens live. Come live.
- [BONUS? Optional. Only include what you actually want to deliver.]
Total time commitment: 4 hours, one morning. Plus a little prep so we can hit the ground running (we’ll send you a short checklist).
Your investment: $250 USD
Ready to build your own VA? 😉
Real results
What people are saying
Is this right for you?
Let’s make sure it’s a fit
This is for you if…
- ✓You already have a coaching business and you’re doing it all yourself
- ✓You’ve thought “I need a VA” and then thought “…but I can’t afford one”
- ✓You’re not techy (or you think you’re not), and you want someone to walk you through every click, in plain English
- ✓You can write an email and use Google Docs. That’s genuinely all the “tech skill” you need
- ✓You want to see it working for your business, not watch someone else’s demo
- ✓You’re a doer. You’d rather build something this morning than sit through another webinar
This is not for you if…
- ✕You’re not willing to install something on your computer. We’re building live on your machine
- ✕You want to watch and take notes. This is a working session, and you’ll be doing the work
- ✕You don’t have a business yet. This is for people already working in their business
- ✕You’re looking for a deep dive into how AI works under the hood. We’re going for useful, not academic
- ✕You can’t make it live. The recording helps, but it isn’t the same
- ✕[Add anything they need, like a Claude account/plan.]
The plan
How the 4 hours go
Hour 1
Get set up (and get over the scary part)
We get Claude Code installed and running, together, one tiny step at a time (you follow along, we help), so you can stop wondering if you’re “techy enough.” (You are. I promise.) By the end of this hour you’ve already typed your first request and watched it work.
Hour 2
Teach it who you are
We build your business “brain”: your voice, your offers, your ideal clients, your rules. So everything it writes for you sounds like you instead of generic AI.
Hour 3
Put it to work
You pick real tasks from your own to-do list (follow-ups, content, admin) and we build them live, so you can reclaim hours every week.
Hour 4
Make it stick
We map what to hand off next and how to keep building on your own, so you leave with a plan and not just a good morning.
[Adjust this to match what you and Mikey actually plan to cover.]
Still wondering?
Questions you might be asking
“I’m not techy. Will I be lost?”
That’s exactly who this is for. This workshop was designed for non-techy people. I’m not a developer either. You’ll type in plain English (no code, ever), we go one small step at a time, and there’s help while you do it, so nobody gets left behind. If you can write an email and use Google Docs, you can do this. The only thing you need is a willingness to try.
“What if I get stuck or break something?”
You won’t break anything, and you won’t be stuck for long. Mikey and I are there the whole four hours to get you unstuck. And the questions you think are “dumb” are usually the ones half the room is wondering.
“I can’t afford a VA. Is this really a replacement?”
It’s not a replacement for a human. It’s a bridge. When you’re new and budget is tight, this gives you real support now, so you aren’t doing everything by hand while you save up. And when you’re ready to hire, you’ll know exactly what to hand off.
“I tried ChatGPT and it sounded like a robot. Why would this be different?”
Because we teach it who you are first. Your voice, your clients, your offers. Most people skip that step and then wonder why it all sounds generic. We don’t skip it.
“I don’t even know what I don’t know.”
Good. That’s the point. You don’t have to know what to ask for. We’ll show you what’s possible, then help you pick what fits your business.
“Is $250 worth it?”
Think about what a VA costs per hour. Think about the hours you spend every week on tasks that could be handled. One of my workflows took what would have been hours of copy-paste and turned it into minutes. [Optionally add a rough hours-per-week estimate you’re comfortable stating.] This workshop pays for itself the first time you use it.
“What if I can’t make it live?”
There’s a recording. But I’ll be honest: this is a working session, and you’ll get far more out of it live, with us helping while you build. If you can show up, do.
“What do I need to bring?”
A computer, [Claude account/plan: confirm requirements], and a few real tasks from your own business. We’ll send a short prep checklist after you register.
Me, Rebecca Tracey. I’ve spent [X years] helping coaches get clear, get confident and get clients through Uncage Your Business. I’ve also been putting Claude Code to work in my own business, and honestly? I’m a little obsessed. Here are some things I had my AI VA do this week that took no time at all and saved me HOURS:
Mikey Wasnidge. Mikey is a friend and a serial entrepreneur who has started and sold several companies. He uses AI every single day to do the work of about ten people. He’s the person I called when I wanted to go deeper, and he’s the one who’ll show us what’s possible when you stop treating AI like a toy and start treating it like staff. [Add Mikey’s one-line “what makes him different.”]
